Introduction

The Envisage Academic Navigation program represents a new and innovative approach to mentoring in academia and research organisations. Unlike other traditional mentoring approaches within universities, the mentor-coaches from Envisage will use skills and techniques derived from the field of executive coaching.

This means your goals and the development of a plan for action will drive your involvement in the program. Your engagement with your mentor-coach will be three to six ‘powerful meetings’ that will focus on the preparation of a plan for you to implement. You can meet over skype or similar technology for three 1-hour meetings or up to six ½ hour meetings about three to four weeks apart.
