Program Leadership
The Envisage program was conceived, developed, and is led by Mark Douglas, who brings more than 30 years of experience in organisational psychology, leadership development, and consulting to the higher education sector. Mark's direct involvement ensures that the Academic Navigation methodology remains grounded in both rigorous practice and genuine understanding of academic culture.
Operations
Day-to-day participant support, registration enquiries, and onboarding are managed by Sheilagh Sullivan. Sheilagh is usually the first person you will hear from after registering, and she ensures every participant's journey with Envisage starts smoothly and that questions are answered promptly and clearly.

Mark established Ethos Consulting in 1991 and has more than 30 years of experience consulting to universities, government departments, and private sector organisations in leadership strategy, mentoring processes, and organisational development. He developed the Envisage Academic Navigation program to bring the structure and insight of executive coaching to the academic career context.

Sheilagh is an Executive Consultant and is likely to be your first point of contact with Envisage. She can address most enquiries about registration, the mentor-matching process, and program logistics, and will ensure your experience with Envisage gets off to a smooth start.
